Captain's Comments

"Thank you all" for a good year of 2008 fishing Lake Erie. Walleye were plentiful as many of you found out. The average size was 18" to 24" with bountiful catches coming to the boat. With the perch limit being raised to 40 for 2006 and nice limits of 8" to 12" fish! Catching them by noon. Trips were finishing the day up with several walleye to top the day off. Real nice trips!

Now on to the future of 2009 fishing season. I see many fish reaching the 23" to 27" range. There was a good minnow hatch as well as perch hatch. This as you all know is what walleye need to grow fat and large on. So now is the time to call and reserve your dates for the 2009 season. 937-605-6500

Thank you,

Capt. Leonard Horton
